This has been a long journey tracing the descendants of Michael Stufflebeam (1763-c1830), but it is winding down as his two youngest daughters, Eleanor and Marilla, had fewer surviving children.
Today, the family sketch will look at Eleanor’s daughter, Harriet.
Harriet McManus was the eldest child of Patrick and Eleanor (Stufflebeam) McManus. She was born c1832 in Illinois and likely in Lawrence County.
Harriet married Jesse L. Glaze on 26 February 1860, Peoria County, Illinois.
Their family story is somewhat short. Although they had four children, only daughter Maria has descendants today.
