The Dalling line is so ancient that with Jeffrey’s daughter Alice the surname daughter’s out of the family tree – and these people were born in the 1400s, which, to me, is incredible.
Jeffrey Dalling was born c1454, likely in Laxfield, Suffolk, England, where he appears to have lived his whole life. He was the son of William Dalling and Margaret (MNU), also of Laxfield.

- Robert, born c1492; died between 27 October 1558 and 18 January 1559/60, dates of his will and probate, probably in Laxfield, Suffolk, England; married Joan (MNU)
- John, born c1496; died between 1 January 1561 and 7 December 1563, dates of his will and probate, probably in St. Nicholas, South Elmham, Suffolk, Eng;and; married Unknown (MNU)

- Jane, born c1514 (under 22 years in 1535); named in her father’s 1535 will
- Nicholas, born c1516 (under 22 years in 1535; named in his father’s 1535 will
Jeffrey Dalling died between 1 June 1535 and 15 July 1535, the dates of his will and probate.
