There is important news from the FamilySearch Library regarding digitization of microfilms and access to those images.

Be sure to read all the FAQs to determine if and how it might impact your genealogy research, both at home, but particularly if you are planning a visit to the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City.

Be aware, too, about this information regarding the FamilySearch catalog:

The Library Catalog will receive timely updates as films are relocated and moved to another floor, but the FamilySearch Catalog is still currently frozen and will not reflect any recent changes regarding the location of the films for the foreseeable future.
