Therefore, today’s subject, Isabella, is the only other child with known descendants today.

Isabella McManus was born c1843 in Illinois and married John B. Seeley on 24 September 1865, Woodford County, Illinois.

John and Isabella were the parents of only three children and it’s very possible that she died giving birth to their youngest child, daughter Veda.

2. John Albert, born 22 April 1870, Linn County, Missouri; died 14 February 1945, Cheboygan, Cheboygan, Michigan; married Estella May Weddle, 16 February 1892, Nodaway County, Missouri. They were the parents of six children, three of whom have descendants.
3. Veda Luch, born 30 May 1878, Nodaway County, Missouri; died 29 October 1935, Nodaway County, Missouri; married Schuyler Colfax Burson, 5 October 1899, Richardson County, Nebraska. They were the parents of one child.

John and Estella Seeley were the parents of six children:

1. Cordia May, born 25 January 1893, Missouri; died 25 June 1918, Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska; married William Charles Patton, c1913. They were the parents of two children, although only one married and had children.
2. Oakley David, born 10 August 1895, Missouri; died 20 June 1970, Cheboygan County, Michigan; married Pearl Rutherford, 18 December 1920, Billings, Yellowstone, Montana. They had no children.
3. Gladys Hope, born 20 November 1899, Missouri; died 23 October 1978, Susanville, Lassen, California; married Perle Brading Long, 1928, Lassen County, California. They were the parents of one daughter, who has descendants.
4. Franklin Floyd, born 7 March 1901, Nebraska; died 8 April 1964, Cheboygan, Cheboygan, Michigan; married Arlene Richardson. They had no children.
5. Clyde, born 28 October 1903, Nebraska; died 28 January 2003, Cheboygan, Cheboygan, Michigan; married Rose Marie Miller, c1921. They were the parents of two children, one of whom died in childhood. The other married and has descendants.
6. Verna, born 7 May 1908, Nebraska; died 12 August 1916, Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska. No descendants.

Schuyler Colfax and Veda Luch (Seeley) Burson were the parents of one daughter:

1. Veda Belle, born 9 November 1901, Nebraska; died 2 July 1992, Nebraska; married Claude Milton Shubert, 1921, Richardson County, Nebraska. They were the parents of two children, both of whom married and have descendants.
