Marilla Stufflebeam, born c1814, probably in Pickaway County, Ohio was the youngest surviving child of Michael Stufflebeam & Abigail (MNU), who left New York and lived for a time in Ohio, Illinois and , finally, Indiana.
Marilla’s life was short, as she was probably barely 30 years old when she died. It’s very possible that she died soon after giving birth to her youngest child, John Baker Seeley, who was born on 6 September 1843, probably in Peoria County, Illinois.
She had definitely died before May 1845, when William Seeley married (2) Adelia Congdon in Henry County, Illinois, which is just slightly northwest of Peoria County.
Marilla Stufflebeam married William Seeley on 22 February 1831 in Warren County, Indiana, not long after her father, Michael, had died.
They were the parents of five children: (Seeley)
