We’re nearing the end of the descendants of William Tarbox and Judith Haskell, as Benjamin Franklin Tarbox was the ninth child and seventh son of this couple. He was born 29 May 1821 in New Gloucester, Cumberland, Maine.
As I mentioned in Part 1 of the George Rogers Tarbox family sketch, several Tarbox siblings, including George, Deborah, William and Plummer lived in Lowell, Middlesex, Massachusetts in the 1840s.
Benjamin was the fifth Tarbox sibling to live in the newly born industrial city and it was there that he married Harriet B. Stetson on 10 April 1847. Whether Benjamin and Hattie knew each other before their time in Lowell isn’t known, but it’s possible they did since his bride was from Minot, only about 15 miles away from New Gloucester.
Benjamin and Harriet were the parents of nine children, but like the life stories of most of the other Tarbox siblings, only two of their children had children of their own.

Nellie has descendants today through that granddaughter.

Charles Frederick was born 9 June 1884, Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts; died 28 October 1954, Braintree, Norfolk, Massachusetts; married Grace Collins, c1909. They were the parents of two daughters who both married and had children.
