William T. Brasher as the fourth child and second son of Lawrence Brasher and Elizabeth Black.
William was born c1806 in South Carolina and moved as a child to Christian County, Missouri.
Unfortunately, the life story of this family isn’t terribly long as William and Nancy were relatively young when they died.
William Brasher married Nancy J. Thompson on 18 October 1830, Hopkins County, Kentucky.
By 1849, William registered a land grant in Maries County, Missouri and the family was enumerated in Jackson, Osage County, Missouri in 1850.
Sadly, this was the last census in which William appears as he died on 11 October 1859 and is buried in Maries County, Missouri.
Nancy died on 23 April 1872 at the age of 57 years in Maries County.
This family often went by the Brasier spelling in Missouri.

Although William and Nancy both died at young ages, their children married and had families so they have a number of descendants today.
