The latest vintage photo going home to a descendant is a c1914 photo of the young family of Glenn Woods & Birdie Ann Lee, who lived in the town of Linton, Emmons, North Dakota.

Glenn Woods was born on 5 September 1885 in Gratiot County, Michigan. Exactly when he left Michigan for North Dakota isn’t known, but he married Birdie Ann Lee in Emmons County on 24 December 1907. The couple spent the rest of their lives in Emmons County.

Birdie Ann Lee was born on 27 October 1888 in Emmonsburg, Emmons, North Dakota to William and Sarah Lee.

This photo depicts Glenn and Birdie with their children Carl, Ellen and Ralph. However, eventually this small family grew to include ten children. Most of their children lived very long lives with one child passing away aged 100 years and another aged 105 years! It also appears that one of their children is still living, aged 104 years.

Therefore, the information on the next generation of family members will be very limited, due to privacy issues.

2. Ellen Lucille, born 16 September 1910; died 6 December 2015; married Harvey Deward Tuttle. They were the parents of seven children.
3. Ralph Dwayne, born 23 March 1913; died 23 June 1974; married Annabell Garling. They were the parents of at least one child.
4. Ila Leone, born 23 January 1914; died 28 June 2014; married Philip Hiram Gutensohn. They were the parents of five children.
5. Anna Laura, born 22 December 1916; died 4 June 2000; married James Kinnally. They were the parents of at least thee children.
6. Apparently Living, born c1919; married and has five children
7. Fredrick Marshall, born 26 November 1920; died 13 January 2017; married Isabelle M. Maier. They were the parents of two children.
8. Robert Lee, born 2 October 1922; died 9 December 2019; married Marion Burgad. They were the parents of three children.
9. Charles Eugene, born 14 October 1924; died 6 September 1995; married Alicia Sandrick. Unknown whether they had children.
10. Mary Jane, born 21 March 1927; died 21 April 2016; married David Conn. They were the parents of five children

Because this photo was taken when there were only three siblings, it has gone home to one of their descendants rather than one of the younger children.
