This Thanksgiving greeting was sent by cousin Sarah to Lewie Hull, Hart, Michigan, RR#4-28 114 years ago!

The message on the back:

Nov. 24, 1910
Dear Cousin,
Hope you will have a good time Thursday. Maude is coming home she won’t have school Thursday or Fri. The school closes here also does yours?

Lewle Homer “Lewie” Hull was born on 27 June 1898 in Hart, Oceana, Michigan, the son of George and Nellie (Holmes) Hull. He died on 20 July 1964 in the hospital in Lansing, Michigan.

He was a veteran of World War I, married Mildred Graham of Lansing on 26 June 1933 and was the father of two daughters and two sons.

Lewie had few cousins on his father’s side, so Sarah appears to be a maternal cousin. However, finding his mother, Nellie, before she married hasn’t been successful.
