July is flying by and it’s the weekend, so it’s time once again for Saturday Night Genealogy Fun with Randy Seaver.
Here is this week’s challenge:
1) Do you watch YouTube videos on a regular basis? What are your favorite YouTube channels for genealogy research?
I have to admit there is very little I watch regularly on YouTube.
However, now that Mondays with Myrt aka DearMyrtle’s Archive with Pat Richley-Erickson is back and hosted on YouTube, I do watch that regularly.
AmericanAncestors also posts their free historical talks, like English Country Houses there and I watch those, too.
Aside from those two, I don’t watch much on YouTube except Oldies music videos!
However, I’ll be looking for ideas in all the SNGF posts this weekend!
Same here. YouTube is not the first place I go, but sometimes a Google search will bring me to one. I actually would rather read instructions that watch them.
I don’t think I am subscribed to the NEHGS channel. I probably should be, though.
I highly recommend Connie Knox’s Genealogy TV channel… Her presentations are fantastic and cover a wide variety of topics.
