Are you ready for the big day? Did all your Christmas cards get written, signed and in the mail? Here is one from the 1950s from Nana, “Mrs. Julia Sabo” that was signed, but never sent anywhere.
There was something about Christmas cards back in the 1950s, which I actually think was the peak decade for well-made holiday products, that gave them charm.
Part of it is that the colors were more intense and the images were simpler. This little card is adorable and I’m very happy that Nana either overlooked this one or ran out of people to send it to, as her Christmas list had hundreds of names on it.
On this Christmas Eve, take time to enjoy relatives and friends and to create new family history memories.
