In Your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it. . .
Lyrics by Irving Berlin: Easter Parade
Today is a day to enjoy with family so this is almost a wordless post.
Patty, Linda and Kathy, Easter 1959
Here I am in the center in my navy blue Easter dress and jacket (I still remember that outfit and Easter bonnet) with next door neighbors and sisters, Patty on the left and Kathy on the right. The picture was taken on the steps to the back door into my house at 49 Summer Street, Passaic, New Jersey.
It’s not a great shot with the sun in our faces and I’m not looking at the camera, but it seems there weren’t many photos taken of me dressed up for Easter, so this is it.
Happy Easter!
