An antique is not officially an antique until it is 100 years old. I realize that my two “antique” memories posted from the 1920s and 1930s don’t officially qualify, but Nana’s and my grandfather’s Christmas cards were at least before my lifetime.

Today’s memory is the earliest photo of have of me with Santa Claus, so this one is definitely “vintage” and not “antique”!

This Santa must have had a multi-year contract with the store because I also have me with him sitting in the exact same chair a year later, in 1954! This picture was likely taken at one of the stores in downtown Passaic, New Jersey where we lived.
