The site is easy to navigate using the six choices on the home page and the tabs along the top tool bar.

There are two member forums – The Future of Reconstruction Studies and The Future of Civil War Era Studies, with multiple articles and responses.

The majority of resources are located in the issues of The Journal and the webinars it hosted due to the cancellation of conferences and talks during the pandemic.

  1. Much as it would pain my Civil War & Reconstruction professor to hear it, I’m not much of a Civil War buff. However, I have two great-great grandfathers who fought in the Civil War (Union), and my husband has a great grandfather who did so on the other side, so there is some interest there. Thank you for posting this information. I will go take a look at the site.
