As each year draws to a close and the holiday season is in full swing, many of us reminisce about past holiday get-togethers with special memories of family members of those who have joined the ancestors. Fun times are remembered by all.
Today’s post is short on text, but shares some of my family’s favorite holiday photos.

I’ve noticed that neither my family nor my husband’s took holiday photos before the 1950s. That’s probably because the Depression and war years were over, America enjoyed prosperity and it was much more common for families to own cameras.
I’ve also noticed that we don’t seem to take many photos anymore and haven’t, really, taken many holiday photos at all from the 1990s into the 21st century. Not even on cell phones!
However, the family treasures the photos we do have and we all enjoy looking back at the family holiday celebrations.
Love your photos!
What wonderful family photos!!! Like your family, we had an artificial tree for years 🙂
