Are You Ready for RootsTech 2023?

NOTE: I am, and have in the past, been an official promoter of RootsTech. I have attended many RT conferences in the past, but will be a virtual attendee this year.

RootsTech 2023 is only six weeks away! Whether you plan to attend the virtual (free) conference or are ready to resume in-person attendance ($98 registration fee), you should be planning your conference visit NOW! That’s a double NOW if you will be in Salt Lake City live!!

For those lucky enough to be attending in-person, please check out my post from several years ago for the best tips to be Prepared – Part 1 and Prepared – Part 2 for education, research at the newly renamed FamilySearch Library and fun.

If, like me, you will be a virtual attendee, you can also start preparing for the conference by (1) registering now and (2) browsing the speakers and their class sessions, which have now been posted.

IMPORTANT NOTE: While IN-PERSON attendees will have the opportunity to view any and all class sessions, VIRTUAL attendees will only be able to view sessions in which speakers have agreed to record.

If you are currently trying to decide whether a trip to the conference is for you, browsing the class sessions might help you decide whether to be an in-person attendee.

As the conference draws closer, there will be more RootsTech 2023 announcements and updates.
