Diana Elder, Nicole Dyer and Robin Wirthlin have published a new companion book to Research Like a Pro: A Genealogist’s Guide.
It has a similar title: Research Like a Pro with DNA: A Genealogist’s Guide to Finding and Confirming Ancestors with DNA Evidence, but it includes the very important component in today’s genealogy research – incorporating DNA results with paper trail evidence.
First, this is not a book explaining the ins and outs of what DNA is – the purpose of the book is to teach researchers how to incorporate DNA into traditional genealogical research and how to document DNA results to today’s standards. Nicole Dyer’s opening sentence in the Introduction makes it clear: Have you been wondering how to use DNA evidence in your genealogy research?
