In the name of God Amen I David Tilford
being weak in body but of sound and perfect
mind and memory (Thanks be to almighty God for
the same) do make and ordain this my Last will
& Testament in the following manner, towit first I give
& bqueath (sic) unto my dear mother the plantation & tract
of Land whereon we now live during her life together
with the household furniture, Stock of every kind
farming Implements & my Negro Girl Frank & child
Phebe & after her death I give & devise the said pantati
on (sic) & Tract of Land Containing One hundred Acres
and Stock household furntirue & farming Implements
of every kind to my brother Andrew Tilford his heirs
& assigns forever I also give & bequeath unto my
Sister Peggy Ewing my said Negro Girl & chld
and the issue which She may have to her & her heirs
forever, I likewise give & devise to my Sisters Polly Cull(?)
and Rachel Cloyd one hundred acres of Land
Joining George Mcafees & Meause’s Lands on Salt
river to them & their heirs forever again I give &
bequeath to my nephew Samuel Tilford son of
my brother Samuel thirty six pounds in money
& all my Cloths & Saddle I also give & order to the Execu
tors to be herein after mentioned twelve pounds in money
to pay my Lawful Debts lastly I give and bequeath to
the remaining part of my brothers and sisters not
before mentioned all my books & smith tools & uten
sils equally to be devided amongst them and I
do hereby nominate and appoint my Brother

this my last Will & testament under my hand and
