Merry Christmas to All, 2017!

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season

A Merry Christmas

I love this postcard, from c1915, which is in my own collection. The cute little girl is a cut out and the tree is made from now very discolored thread. In addition, the church has non-opaque paper film over its windows so that light flows through if the card is held up to view.

It is actually addressed to Miss Emma Konopasik, no address with the inscription “I wish you a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. G.S., written in very nice, adult cursive. There is no stamp on the postcard so it either was never mailed or else G.S. delivered the card by hand to Emma.

I have not been able to identify Emma in any records, as the only Emma Konopasik found is married to a Frank Konopasik by 1920 and they don’t have a daughter also named Emma.

This postcard is in my personal collection.
